Because of the all welded design utilizing schedule 40 HD steel pipe, Rack-it Truck Racks are not only strong enough for service and utility bodies, but strong enough for the capacities of the Ford F450/550 and like trucks, just like the one in this photo.

It's a Sea of Blue!
Yes, it's a sea of blue forklift loadable Rack-it truck racks. This was a large project of trucks built for P.G.&E. (Pacific Gas & Electric) on Knapheide Service Bodies. Some of these racks are different because the bodies have different features, such as, in the last two photos, this unit has what Knapheide calls the TSR, or Telescopic Sliding Roof. Many call that a cargo bed enclosure since it closes off and secures the cargo bed area. The bottom two are also dual rear wheel units, but most of the job was single rear wheel trucks.
This was quite a job and we were very pleased to work directly with Knapheide Manufacturing to get it accomplished. We are also grateful to P.G.&E. for the business opportunity. We love blue!

Show Us Your Rack-it Sighting At Belden's Landing
Here's another Rack-it Truck Rack sighting at Belden's Landing at the Montezuma Slough in the Suisun Delta area. This one is attached to a great Chevy Extended Cab Short Bed truck and was pulling a boat out of the water when we noticed the rack. The truck is owned by Eric Ochs, Project Manager and Foreman for Archer Building Company, Inc. of El Dorado Hills CA. This particular rack is a camper shell rack with the posts set slightly outside the bed area to accommodate a camper shell.
Thanks for showing us your Rack-it, Eric!

The First Rack - It Is A Timeless Rack
Here's a shot of the original Rack-it truck rack from 1986. Looks great, doesn't it? It's become a timeless design that looks great on older trucks and brand new, fresh-off-the-assembly-lines trucks. It looks great on a Dodge or a Chevrolet (Chevy for most of us. . .), GMC, Ford, Toyota, Nissan, International (remember them?), and whomever else wants to build a pickup. Isn't that great? We think so.
Check out our Rack-it Truck Racks and see our list of dealers and distributors at http://www.rackitinc.com/.
