Our good friends down at West Coast Truck Equipment in West Sacramento, CA sent us these images of a rack they just did for Team Chevrolet of Vallejo, CA. WCTE's Jack Schmidt, along with Bob Dias put this truck together utilizing Rack-it's new HD Square Tube Commercial Rack. While this style of rack is typically made for service body applications, as you can see, we can also build these forklift loadable racks to fit pickup beds as well. WCTE needed us to build this rack to specific dimensions to accommodate the high side tool boxes.
We also added custom mounting plates to attach the tool boxes to the rack for maximum support. Last, but not least, we added an expanded metal frame behind the rear window, further customizing the rack to exactly what the customer was looking for. Once again, if you have a customer looking to customize a rack, we love to take on these cool projects, big or small.
