Isuzu has premiered two newly-converted D-Max pick-ups at the 2014 CV Show: the D-Max BRV and D-Max MEWP cherry-picker.
Converted by Pickup Systems, Isuzu claims that the D-Max BRV, or Brigade Response Vehicle, can respond to up to 90% of all fire and rescue 999 calls. The bespoke pick-up is fitted with a 310 litre water tank, 3.5 bar water pump and 55 metre hosepipe to help fight fires. It also includes inbuilt equipment lockers, strip lighting and LED spot lamps as well as a controller for sirens and a public announcement system.
